Who was at fault ?

"Human Resource" - the only department who always works harder so that other departments can work smoothly. The only department, who had always worked harder for the benefits of its employees and had balanced equations between employer and employee.

Hi, this is Kanal Shah and I am writing this article to express my thoughts and experiences about the HR team and how they are valued and judged by other employees.

HR people have not been considered or valued the way they should be. There are many memes and jokes and funny comments passed upon them. They are always considered as people who are just calculating salaries or taking interviews and roaming here and there. If there is anything, where there is no one to be blamed, HR is the easy target to be blamed.

I have a question here to all the people who think HR have no/less work to be done as compared to their onus. Why will any company pay a high amount of salaries to anyone, who is just doing something which aint worth this high pay ? Or Why will any company have huge HR teams and directors to handle the workforce ?

I have always heard how humiliating comments are passed upon any HR, if they are being called for any feedback or improvements or anything which is said to improve themselves by the HR team.

I have something to tell such people, that apart from salaries or recruitments and roaming here and there, we are making way more efforts and sweat to make sure your work is moving on smoothly. We are being paid to handle all the stress, where companies may focus on all the other productive areas to achieve growth and success. Any decision taken by HR's are always pre-approved by concerned authorities. Hence, rather blaming HR for anything, try to understand the concern behind the same. Do judge anyone, where you can put yourself and accept those judgements.

If anyone wants to know what we HR's do, feel free to be in our shoes for the day. I am sure, your concept and comments will have a drastic change.

Everyone should be proud of what they are and whatever profession they choose to pursue. Being a HR is in no way different. They have their own set of roles and responsibilities like any other profession. So cheers…
