Who else wants, needs, and desires do I want to factor in with my choices? Where is there a win-win?

First, life is not about me. I want to know the desire of God and do it. I believe that I am on this earth to serve Him and to bring Him honor. This is my desire, but I admit that I have failed in this area more than I would like to say. I want to look after the needs of my wife and family members, including my extended family. I want to factor into my choices our Eastern family and our customers and vendors. I want to help and serve people. There are so many human needs in our world and I cannot meet every one of them, but I can have a positive impact on those in which I come in contact with.

A favorite verse of mine is Philippians 2:3-4, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.” This verse tells me who to consider and factor into my decisions. Where is there a win-win? Proverbs 11:25 states, “The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others in need.”
