WHO DO YOU TRUST TO ANSWER YOUR TAX QUESTIONS?

This past week was no different than a lot of other weeks, at least when it comes to taxes. People were looking for answers online.
They had situations that felt overwhelming, but really had pretty simple answers. The problem is that they had lots of wrong answers. Some would cost them a lot in taxes and penalties and some could even land the taxpayer in jail.?
Here’s a sample:
How can I avoid paying taxes in my home state?
Do I have to report my online sales on my tax return?
What address do I use for my return?
And probably the most unusual:
Property was seized due to RICO violation. (In other words, racketeering.) How do you report that on the tax return?
All of those have answers, but most of the answer you get on social media are wrong.
