Who do you see

So who do you see when hiring a great person to work for you and your company. Most people don't see the real person just the one sitting in front of them, how they are dressed and how they look in person. They don't see that this person might be the next coo or the next manager of a dept. that needs what they have to offer. Looking in side your self sometimes open doors that you don't want no one to know about in your life and how hard it was for you to get where you are in life at this time. You only get as far as the job can take you and then you lose sight of why you started in this field any way. Only the job you love might not be there at the time you are looking and that job might be far off and then you lose hope for the job that could keep you happy in life. If you love the job you have you will go far but at any given time that can change and all you know is lost and can't be found. Some people leave a job for so many reasons that only they know what it is cause none of the people in the company want hear what they have to say. We don't see the true person and what they stand for in life. We don't hear them cause they don't like we think they should or they can't speak like you and the people in the company think they should be like. We all go through life with blinders on and only see what we want to see in our world. Put your self in the other persons spot and place in life and ask yourself what do you want the other person to know most about you and why they should hire you. Most of the people I know that can make a great staff member or a great Dept. Manager for any hotel or resort or company get turned down day in and day out. They just want a chance to show the skills and the love they have for doing a great job and giving great guest experience to all they come in contact with on there job site. Most Managers will not work a long side there staff in getting the job done right the first time. They give out the orders and don't show how the job needs to be done and when things go wrong they say the person needs more training and more hands on that was never given at the start of the job. If you want better you train to make sure they know what to do at all times and you show with a great hands on approach that will assure that the job will be done right the first time. They all need help some times and most can remember and store in brain but some needs more so sometimes you have to look and see what they can be great at and enjoy doing. So look beyond the face and smile and see the true person and what they can be for your company not just what they have on and not what you see in front of you. You just miss out on a great employee and fellow worker in making your company greater that it is and stay working for better and better.
