Who are Designers anyway?
Designers are creative individuals that "create" and give birth to ideas in shape, form and process. We operate at a different dimension. Creativity is genius and sometimes it is inherited and sometimes it is earned through extensive practices. A "creative Person" will never get stuck because creativity solves problems. Therefor you can call Designers the "problem solvers".
Once you have been under this umbrella you can live and grow in every direction you choose. Creative people across all genres think the same way: "How to express what is inside to the outside world". Visual communication specialists also do the same, they compose a series of colors, dots and shapes to help you see it and send the message to your brain to learn it (what ever that "it" is). Do not put Designers and Artists in the same category, there is a major different in how we function:
Artists express themselves and their thoughts and emotions through various forms of art, yet Designers teach you what you need to know through a universal visual language of colors and shapes. Though both use the same tools such as Adobe softwares or generic painting sketching tools.
