For those who don’t know, since 2021, I’ve had the privilege of being part of the founding team at Salesclass , a mission-driven program that changes lives. At Salesclass.co, we don’t just teach, we transform. It’s a hardcore re-skilling program designed to open doors to high-tech sales careers, turning potential into profession. This isn’t your average training course; it’s an intense, fast-paced journey where students emerge as confident, capable sales professionals, ready to thrive and make their mark in the high-tech world.
At the core of everything we do lies a simple but powerful principle: “Who Dares Wins.”
This phrase, borrowed from the British Special Air Service (SAS), is more than just a motto. It’s a mindset. A reminder that boldness, not caution, creates opportunity. And in sales, just as in life, it’s those who dare to take the leap who reap the rewards.

Fear. It’s the invisible force that holds so many of us back.
Fear of rejection. Fear of failure. Fear of the unknown. These fears manifest as hesitation, procrastination, or self-doubt. What’s worse, they often masquerade as logic:
Here’s the truth: There’s no such thing as the perfect time. Waiting only ensures one thing - that the opportunity will pass you by.

Let me share a story from my Salesclass sessions. I teach two sessions, at the end of the first session, I give my students a significant mid-term assignment (At first, they hate me for it - like, seriously hate me. But later? They’re thanking me like I just handed them the keys to the kingdom):
But there’s a twist: I offer them a one-time “Joker” they can use between sessions for a personal, 1:1 conversation with me. They can ask ANYTHING - about the assignment, career strategy, or sales tactics. What they don’t know is that this isn’t just a quick conversation. It’s an in-depth, tailored session designed to provide clarity, direction, and insights that can make a real difference.
Now, here’s what happens: Out of a class of 25-30 students, less than 15% use the Joker.
Why? The reasons are always the same:
But the real reason? FEAR. Fear of bothering me, fear of taking a risk, fear of making the wrong move.
And yet, those who dare to use it walk away with valuable insights that accelerate their growth. Those who don’t? They miss out - not because the opportunity wasn’t there, but because they didn’t take it.

The takeaway is simple: If you don’t dare to take action, you’ll never know what you’ve missed. This applies to everything in life, whether it’s personal or professional.

Leo Buscaglia’s words remind us that avoiding risk doesn’t keep us safe - it keeps us stagnant. Growth and success require stepping into uncertainty, whether it’s pursuing a new career or making a bold decision. Playing it safe may feel comfortable, but daring to act is how we truly become something greater.
In SALES, it isn’t just about talent or experience - it’s about ACTION!
The best SDRs, AEs, and sales professionals aren’t the ones who avoid risks. They’re the ones who dare to take them.

Take a moment to think about it. What’s the thing you’re avoiding right now?
Ask yourself: What’s the worst that could happen if you tried? Now ask yourself: What’s the best that could happen? That gap between “worst” and “best” is where bold action lives - and where growth begins.
And as my favorite and most inspiring influencer, Gary Vaynerchuk , says: "You can’t read about push-ups. You gotta do them." It’s a simple but powerful reminder that no amount of planning or thinking can replace action. Success comes from doing - from taking the leap, trying, failing, and trying again. Inaction gets you nowhere, but consistent effort? That’s where the magic happens.

Like Gary’s push-up analogy, i want to add that you can’t just wake up one day and run a marathon.
