Who Cares?

Who Cares?

As we all continue to navigate the challenges of this pandemic and the social distancing that is coming along with it, there has been one question that has been prominent for me in all of my interactions:

Who Cares?

And I don't mean that flippantly. There are plenty of businesses as well as people I am still interacting with on a daily basis and I am always asking myself who is showing me that they actually care about others while this is going on.

I've had calls where the first part of our conversation is about how we're all adjusting and calls where people want to cut to the chase and do business as usual.

I've had emails and texts that are very thoughtful and helpful as well as emails and texts that feel like they were written by a committee.

I've had companies that listen and have made adjustments to payments and companies that never respond.

Whom do you think I'll remember when all of this over?

Yep.

The people who cared.

All of this is also creating an opportunity for all of us to up our "caring" game.

If you have clients right now it's worth it to ask what you're doing to show them you care right now.

If you have referral partners or colleagues it's worth it to ask what you're doing to show them your care right now.

What about prospects?

Same deal.

People remember interactions when the chips are down far more easily than in good times and we all have control of how we can be remembered.

The question on everyone's mind right now is Who Cares?

You want the answer to be YOU.

Excelsior!

P.S. I write a daily email that teaches you how to make your brand referable, your messages memorable, and your ideas unforgettable. Want it? Go HERE

Same :). It’s quite a consciousness shift from the big guys to the small to see who even has the leeway to care and adapt
