Who can? VMware vCAN!

To follow along with my "VMware is not legacy, Virtualization is" post I wanted to bring attention it an excellent interview with VMware's Cloud Provider Software leader Ajay Patel on theCUBE.

If you are a vCAN provider you should be excited that you are part of a network of "4200 Service Providers, 119 Countries, all delivering VMware compatible Cloud." This makes us the largest cloud provider in the world as an aggregate!

If you are an Enterprise you should know that we are ready for you and realize you want to be out of the data center business but not the VMware business. We have Public and Private clouds ready for you that are focused on running traditional enterprise applications. Some of us can even provide managed services to give you more time in your day to develop new enterprise applications that your users are demanding. And where do you develop these new apps? Google, AWS, Azure? Sure, but you don't have to go outside of the four walls if you don't want to. We can provide you the same development infrastructure to run a framework that fits your business needs. If you do want to interact with the tiers 1, some of us have the network infrastructure to be a cross connect away from the big guys.
