Who Am I

Some time ago, I was teaching a Product Owner course. During that class, one of the participants was going into all the details of what made it hard for them to be successful using “Scrum.”

As I listened to these challenges, I thought to myself, “If you only used #Scrum correctly, most of these problems would disappear.” And on top of that, I thought it wasn’t fair that this person was asked to perform a new role at work without the necessary #training or organizational #support. These insights made me realize that my interests were not only about building new products (which I had been doing a lot of lately) but that my true #passion, the one that gives me the most satisfaction at the end of the day, is about helping people do better Scrum.

I believe everyone anywhere can #doBetterScrum. When people see what good Scrum looks like, they can use that knowledge to create more enjoyment at work and with their careers. The Scrum Academy exists as a vehicle to bring this #vision to life. So, I’m really excited to begin this new part of my journey and I hope’ll you join me somewhere along the way as we go down this river of life!
