IFSCC holding conference at in-cosmetics Asia for the first time


On November 5, 'in-cosmetics Asia' kicked off at BITEC in Bangkok, Thailand, and the '9 Faces of the APAC Beauty Industry' awards ceremony, which was established for the first time this year.The nine awardees are Bhuvana Kannan, Independent Director of Hypergenic Biogroup, Marina Fu, ?Senior Formulation Manager of Givaudan, Mediana Hadiwidjaja, heading Infinisia Sumber Semesta, Ruhee M. Bindra, founder of Japanese Luxe Artisanal Skin & Hair Care Cosmetics, Tin Nguyen, Director of Product Development at Y&B JSC Cocoon Vietnam & Nature Story, Wang Ruiyan, General Manager of Raw Material R&D Center of Bloomage Biotech, Yonit Bomstein, co-founder of Green Mountain Biotech, Andrea Taimana, founder of Organic Bioactives, Tomas Tappin, co-founder of Two Dudes. The award recognizes professionals who have contributed to research and development (R&D), innovation, and leadership in the beauty industry in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Winners were given certificates and certificates.

On this day, the 'Innovation Zone Best Ingredient Award' and the 'Spotlight On Formulation Awards' were also held, reflecting the latest technologies and trends in the cosmetics industry.

Bronze Prize in the Functional category goes to IOI Oleo

The Innovation Zone Best Ideological Award in the Functional category was awarded to Lucas Meyer Cosmetics - by Clariant for 'Pickmulse?', the silver award was won by Wilmar for 'WILSOL SPF BOOSTER', and the bronze award was won by IOI Oleo for 'DYNASAN? Crystal CONTROL L'. Functional materials are materials that exhibit functions due to physical properties such as conditioning, moisturizing, surfactants, pigments, thickeners, fragrances, and carriers in addition to biological efficacy. It refers to giving a specific function to a formulation that improves the skin.

Bronze Prize in the Actives category CODIF Technologie Naturelle

Award in the Actives category was awarded to Givaudan Active Beauty for 'Neuroglow?', Silver Award was awarded to Vytrus Biotech for 'BAOLIFT? - Your Skin Workout', and Bronze Award was given to CODIF Technologie Naturelle for 'PANTODIUM CICA'. Efficacy materials refer to materials that directly act on the skin with materials that provide biological benefits such as whitening and wrinkle improvement.The award was selected from 100 products submitted in the Innovation Zone among materials launched in the past eight months.

Spotlight On Formulation Awards was announced. The Gold medal went to Bitop for its ‘Shine Control Moisture Fusion Fluid with Ectoin? natural’, the Silver medal went to Bloomage Biotechnology for its 'Hybloom? Zinc Hyaluronate(HA-Zn)’, and bronze medal went to dsm-firmenich for its ‘Bi-Phase Thermal Aging AGELESS Mist with SYN-UP?’ . These awards were selected from the 41 raw materials presented in the Spotlight on area during the exhibition.

Dr. Ryu, the Head of Amore Pacific’s R&D center and Mike Sohn the CEO of REACH 24H participated as judges from Korea.

Cosmetic Conference


In-cosmetics Asia kicked off on November 5 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) in Bangkok, Thailand, with more than 650 companies participating, the largest in the 15-year history of the exhibition. This year, under the theme of "Science, Innovation, Trends, Community," more than 200 companies will showcase their innovative products, and more than 80 seminars and workshops will be held. In particular, under the auspices of the International Congress of Cosmetic Sciences (IFSSCC) and dsm-firmenich, the first 'Cosmetic Conference' is to be held on November 5 and 6. 'Marketing Trends & Regulations' will feature 18 sessions on topics such as global beauty trends in 2025, the impact of artificial intelligence on the personal care industry, sustainability, and ingredient trends in Asia. There are 30 sessions of 'Technical Seminars' for personal care stakeholders. More than 100 new ingredients will be on display in the Innovation Zone, sponsored by Mibelle Biochemistry, while the Spotlight on Skin Screen will feature an interactive zone where visitors can test more than 40 ingredients. In the 'Formulation Lab', 10 companies demonstrate product formulations using their ingredients. in-cosmetics Asia is a leading provider of manufacturing technology, machinery, packaging, ODM· It will be held at the same time as 'COSMEX', an ASEAN regional exhibition that gathers OEM services.
