Who will be the 2018 Entrepreneur of the Year?

Candidate A: TODD PEDERSEN

Todd is the founder of a $2 billion home automation business, Vivint. Named by Forbes’ annual America’s Most Promising Companies list, Vivant is growing like mad. He says that profitability is a by-product of serving customers. Every great closer knows this. Todd focuses on domination, and as I always say, you get what you focus on. He’s also always looking to see what Vivant can be doing better, how he can improve, and what opportunities are out there for growth. Todd is obsessed with growth. 

Candidate B: JORDAN ZIMMERMAN

Jordan is Founder, Chairman and Architect of the Zimmerman Advertising empire, now the 14th largest advertising agency in the world with published billings in excess of $3 billion. Displayed throughout his new 130,000 square foot Zimmerman Advertising Headquarters in Fort Lauderdale is his motto, “Relentlessly pursue the client’s goal, but never rest in the glory.” I personally know that Jordan understands the value of differentiation and the importance of metrics. He’s growing his business like crazy. You could say he's OBSESSED with expansion.

Candidate C: ANDY FRISELLA

Andy, CEO of 1st Phorm, which is now bringing in more than $100 million a year, and now he’s using his popular podcast to build a community and further his expansion. He’s a big dreamer because he knows successful people in business dream big and have immense goals. They are not “realistic.” They leave that to the masses who fight for leftovers. “Big think” changes the world, and it will certainly change your business. Big think is what has turned his small supplement company into a big business. Andy has obsession written all over him.

WHAT DO THE "GREATS" DO?

I always try and learn from great entrepreneurs.

Great entrepreneurs are known for their accomplishments, their willingness to help others, and their ability to disrupt industries while doing good and collaborating with others like them sharing known strategies for ensuring success. Can you name a great that hasn’t had amazing accomplishments? No, of course not.

Can you think of any great that didn’t change the way something was done? They are all game changers. The true greats, however, aren’t content with just changing the world—they share their successes so others like them can advance. 

These are the people who should be in your network.

SUMMARY

I want to be connected with the greats—the best of the best. One of the reasons I’m holding 10XGrowthCon 2018 is because I want to put together a conference I want to attend myself.
