White House raises contract spending goals for small disadvantaged businesses

Have you and your team prepared your contracting strategy for FY 23?

?Do you know which agencies your team plans to target and why?

?Are your subcontracting partners and suppliers best for the plan you have in place?

?If you haven't already begun planning your revenue goals and contracting strategy, you are behind!?

?Here is why:?

  • The Whitehouse has a goal to steer $100 billion in new contracting opportunities to minority-owned businesses over the next five years and has requested an increase in the amount of contracting dollars available to small disadvantaged businesses in the Fiscal Year 2023.?
  • Agencies are expected to negotiate new contracting goals and award at least 12% of all federal contract spending to Small Disadvantaged Businesses in FY2023.

?Our leadership is shifting the focus to funding small businesses and increasing access to capital for minority-owned firms, which is why our strategy must be flexible.??

?Want to know my government contracting strategy for Fiscal Year 23?

?I am the CEO and Founder of a woman, minority firm that focuses on making it simple for small businesses to build revenue around Federal Contracting dollars.?

?In my first six months of Government Contracting, my firm won a quarter of a million-dollar contract with the United States Federal Government.?

?Want to know how I did it??

?I am not a gatekeeper, and I will continue to allow small businesses to meet with me to observe my Government Contracting process.?

?My strategy is simple, and I have used the same framework to win contracts since my first award.?

?Once I determine my annual revenue goal and review our Government budget plan to understand where the contracting dollars are, I outline and finalize my government contracting strategy.?

?I have templates, a CRM system, and a proven relationship-building plan to remain consistent, productive, and paid!?

?There is a shift happening, and the government is focusing on supporting small, minority-owned businesses.

?I look forward to seeing how access to contract dollars for disadvantaged businesses will be improved in FY23.?
