White House Officials Invite Chamber to Discuss Bipartisan Innovation Act
Last week, the White House hosted a roundtable for southern businesses to discuss the semiconductor shortage and the Bipartisan Innovation Act.
The Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce was invited to this meeting to share with White House officials how the chip shortage and related supply chain disruptions are impacting businesses in Northwest Arkansas.
At this virtual meeting, President Biden's staff also gave an update on the bipartisan, bicameral CHIPS for America Act included in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Act, that will invest more than $50 billion to accelerate domestic semiconductor production.
The Bipartisan Innovation Act seeks to spur U.S. manufacturing, strengthen our supply chains, lower prices for consumers, and advance national security. To read more about the act,?click here.
