White Box & Black Box Testing All You Need To Know
Imagine you are a manufacturer who is looking to introduce a new electric fan in the market. Your Team develops and launches it in the market without testing it. A consumer plugs it in and the fan glitches. The objections pile up. What will you do now? Before re-launching the product, you will first “test” it and then authenticate it. In the same way, mobile and web applications need to be tested before deployment to ensure that they are not buggy, and work faultlessly. White box and black box testing are the two main aspects of software testing that are useful here. Software testing needs to be done at different phases of the software development life cycle. An application or a product can be tested for precision and perfection right from the designing stage up until the product launch.
Black Box Testing
Black box testing is a type of software testing process that needs a tester to test a product without any information about the product’s internal structure. The black box focuses on software behavior so it refers to as high-level testing. The testing can be done virtually to every phase of software testing: unit, integration, system and acceptance.
The testers focus on whether or not the product meets all the requirements specified in the Software Requirements Specification (SRS). Using a user interface, they can check different features of the app to ensure that the application is carrying out all its functions faultlessly and efficiently.

White Box Testing
White box testing is another type of software testing process that needs to test the internal structure of the system and application in detail. The testers not only ensure that the app is functioning properly but also see that the application is performing its functions.
White box testing helps to confirm and determine the accuracy of each and every path that the application takes when fed with various kinds of inputs. Due to its translucent nature, white-box testing is sometimes referred to as transparent, clear, glass, or open-box testing.
