A whistleblower sacking, a SLAPP, a penalty and an appeal

Two years after the Employment Relations Authority fined a Council whistleblower $9,000 (￡4,200) for disparaging that Council, Allan Halse’s challenge (appeal) will be heard in the Employment Court.

Could this happen in the United Kingdom?? Highly unlikely now, given the SLAPPs Warning Notice?issued by the Solicitor’s Regulation Authority on 28 November 2022.?
