Why don't we whistle while we work?

Speaking truth to power is our shared responsibility.

The three key words being ‘our shared responsibility’ meaning two or more of us together.

Learn to speak truth to power in such a way that there are consequences…good consequences for all involved.

Speaking truth to power is not about complaining or blaming. It is not about throwing people under the bus. It is not about being a traitor or a nark. It’s about speaking up and inspiring changes that ultimately benefit relationships and results.

? Changes that are mutually beneficial for people and the environment we work/live in.

? Changes that, when executed properly, benefit the company and share holders.

Speaking truth to power takes power, skill, and support.

?? You have the power.

??Together you have more than double the power.

?? When spoken skillfully, you will have the support you need and more.

In business, it’s about results AND relationships. It’s about being responsible for the P+L and the People + Leadership. It’s about performance AND partnerships.

?? Speaking truth to power is ultimately beneficial for all involved if it is spoken sooner than later, respectfully, skillfully and in such a way that changes occur. ??Changes that serve the company purpose, people, performance, core values, humanity, and our environments.
