Whispers of Eternity

Whispers of Eternity

In the quiet of the night, when the world's hushed and dim,

A mother weeps in shadows, her heart brimming to the brim.

Her daughter, once her joy, in life's tapestry a precious seam,

Now visits her in dreams, a soothing, ethereal gleam.

"Mother, dearest Mother," she whispers, light as air,

"I'm here within your heart, in the love we'll always share.

Do not weep for me, for I'm not truly gone,

In every dream, I'll visit you, from dusk till the dawn."

Her touch, a feather's brush against the mother's cheek,

A balm to the sorrow, to the soul weary and weak.

"In your memories, I dance; in your laughter, I sing,

In the strength of your love, my spirit takes wing."

The mother holds her close, in the realm of sleep's embrace,

Finding solace in the night, in the dream's tender grace.

With a kiss upon her brow, the daughter fades away,

Leaving behind a promise of another visit, another day.

Awakened by the dawn, the mother feels a peace untold,

Her heart carries the love, more precious than gold.

For though her daughter's gone, in dreams, she finds her way,

A soothing presence in the night, a comfort in the day.

So, through the grief and pain, a bond remains unbroken,

In dreams, they meet again, with words of love unspoken.

A mother's love, enduring beyond the grasp of death's dark sea,

In dreams, her daughter whispers, "I'm here, always with thee."
