Whispers of Dawn

In lands where golden wheat once swayed,

Now echoes the warrior's silent parade.

Under the azure sky, so clear and so bright,

Lies the untold story of an arduous fight.

From the heart of Kyiv to the shores of the sea,

Brave souls stand firm, yearning to be free.

With each dawn, hope whispers anew,

In the struggle for freedom, so fierce and true.

Beneath the veil of the starlit night,

They dream of peace, of ending the plight.

But as stars fade with the morning's glow,

So do lives, in this relentless foe.

In distant lands, words of support are spoken,

Promises made, yet so often broken.

As the West watches from afar, contemplating aid,

In Ukraine's embrace, the price of delay is paid.

For every moment, every passing day,

Is a sacrifice too great, a hefty price to pay.

Heroes fall, their stories untold,

Leaving behind memories, precious like gold.

Yet, with unwavering resolve, they continue to stand,

Guardians of freedom, in their war-torn land.

Their plight, a stark reminder to all,

Of the cost of waiting, of heeding the call.

So let this poem be a beacon, a guiding light,

For the warriors of Ukraine, in their noble fight.

May their courage echo in our hearts, loud and clear,

In the hope that help, and peace, is near.
