While talking to myself, life happened

I talk to myself. Quite a bit.
Sometimes it’s an alternative course a conversation could have taken. Sometimes it’s what I want myself to hear, crisp and clear. Sometimes it’s to replay a moment in my head, reminisce the subtleties I appreciated in a random exchange. Sometimes it’s just me thinking out loud, and often not thinking at all, also out loud.
Point is, I talk to myself.
Of late, it’s been a lot about finding patterns in all that I’ve learnt, so I can establish some ground principles for self, based on lived experience, that can set the path for anything I choose to do in life, next. Call it starting from scratch, or a system refresh – the difference is a matter of perspective.
Either way, here’s an attempt to document these learnings as life happens.
Some are personal learnings I took to work, some are learnings I took home, from work. Some are learnings from in between the lines, and some beyond. Playing games, preparing meals, cleaning the house, and driving a car have also taught me a lot about life, through metaphors.
Sharing all I got, one by one. First two in the series:
