While students cheat at uni and people quietly quit. Employers are sick of paying high wages for low performance.

The issue of students not learning at university and turning to paid for assignments and other means of bypassing assessments is a growing concern in today's society. This phenomenon is driven by a shift in attitudes towards education, with many students now prioritising shifts at their casual job salaries over a comprehensive education. Students are increasingly looking for ways to bypass the traditional educational system and get ahead in their careers without putting in the necessary work. This includes paying for assignments, cheating on exams and more. These students are motivated by a desire for a quick return on their investment and a belief that they can achieve success without putting in the hard work and think a degree is a ticket to a job. Luckily Im able to help them and they are coming to me for our professional resume writing services more than ever, because it's often been 10 months and they still haven't landed a gig.

Then there's the issue of when they do then land the job, employees quietly quitting their jobs by underperforming and pushing for less work hours and more work-life balance, while still expecting more salary, is becoming increasingly prevalent in today's workforce. This phenomenon is driven by a shift in attitudes towards work, where many employees are prioritising their personal lives over their professional ones.

On one hand, employees are becoming less engaged in their work, and are instead focusing on their personal lives and hobbies. They are less willing to put in extra effort, and are more likely to take extended breaks or leave work early. This can lead to decreased productivity and a lack of commitment to their job.

Companies are then less inclined and less able to hire, with less corporate productivity=less profit=less jobs. (or higher prices for the customers).

Advice for jobseekers or grads in this boat: For anyone feeling disengaged at work, my advice would be: sit down with a career coach *hello* , and really get an understanding of what you want to do with your life. Nextly, don't just settle for jobs you don't really want, I can help you present yourself so you get the jobs you do want- but you'll need to invest into that and book a session.

On the other hand, employers are struggling to find and retain employees who are fully engaged in their work and willing to put in the necessary effort to meet the demands of the business. This can lead to a lack of productivity and increased costs for the employer. Employers are complaining of an increasing number of underskilled job applicants who are not meeting their expectations. These applicants are often expecting high salaries and unwilling to perform the required volume of work that the business needs. This is leading to a mismatch between the skills and expectations of job applicants and the needs of employers, which is exacerbating the problem of students not learning at university.

My advice for companies: hire with a professional agency who cares about your teams growth *hello*, despite what you think, it will cost you less in the long run. Better talent= more productivity= more profit. We can manage your team workplace processes to ensure you make better hiring decisions and design ways to keep your hires retained and engaged.

What are the risks? If people quietly quit, if they have less than average skills, we will see a boom in offshoring where wages are lower, mass let go's and outsourcing. = Huge unemployed and economic disasters.

In conclusion, the issue of employees quietly quitting their jobs by underperforming and pushing for less work hours and more work-life balance, while still expecting more salary, is a complex problem that requires a multi-faceted approach. Employers and employees must work together to find a balance between work and personal life, and find ways to create a more positive and engaging work environment that benefits both parties.

I think for some of us during lockdown we’ve had time to think about what we truly want. Be honest with yourself.
