While I am In Between Gigs
Being laid off is never fun, a resolution can never happen quick enough, but there has been some very creative and constructive things happening in my studio... paintings, sculptures and fine art photography prints. I have been a fine artist since my college days back in the early 80's. Now during my week off I have decided to launch a new company and webpage to sell my art. With the gift giving season upon us I hope to with your help, draw a bit of attention.
Other than my creative marketing career, I am best known for my computer mediated art. My graduate show back in the summer 1984 consisted five very large serigraphy prints all mediated on a mainframe computer. Being a lowly artist I was only able to log onto the system in the early morning-3:00 AM. Today I am able to more and faster on a MacBook. I now pick my own hours.
I have been exploring math and geometry with my work, the Fibonacci or golden ratio and sacred shapes from around the world. The mandala is one of those shapes. My current work joins the human form imagery and geometry to form mandalas of great intricacy and color. Please visit www.geoformphotography.com to see the art, read more, join the blog or enter the monthly free giveaways.
