Which wolf are you feeding?

Your time is NOW. Mindset is everything and what we feed it becomes who we are. This story is a good reminder of just that:

The story of the two wolves is from the Cherokee culture in which a grandfather teaches his grandson an important life lesson.

The grandfather tells his grandson that there is a battle going on inside all of us. It is a battle between two wolves that live inside us.
He says,  “My son, the battle is between two ‘wolves’ that live inside us all. One is evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. The other is good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.”
The grandson thinks about it for a while and says,  “Which wolf wins?”
The grandfather replies,  “The one you feed”.


Our entire future is in our hands. Every day. We have complete control and it’s up to us whether we choose to feed ourselves courage or to succumb to fear. Live each day as if your life depends on it, because it does. It is up to you to feed your mind everything it needs to achieve success and contentment in life.

The bad wolf is FEAR. It breeds doubt and is paralyzed by the unknown. It tells us lies and sees the negative outcomes. It is scared, uncertain, indecisive and pessimistic.

The good wolf is FAITH. It is courageous and driven. Filled with empowerment and generosity. It is optimistic and sees the glass half full all the time.

Starve the bad wolf. Feed the good wolf. Soon there will only be one left.
