Which wolf will you feed?

Which wolf will you feed?

There will never be the 'right' time to start.

There will always be people that tell you you can't

There will always be people, maybe those closest to you, that laugh at your ideas.

There will always be others doing the same thing as you that are further along in their journey and others that are only just getting going.

You may know this story but an old Cherokee is teaching his grandson about life.

“A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy. “It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.

One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.”

?He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.?

The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.”

?The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Which wolf will win?”

?The old Cherokee simply replied, “The one you feed".

When others are telling you you can't do something, question your motives or you feel small, it's down to you what you do next.

You can either listen to them and play small or don't, do it your own way, do your own thing and begin to grow.

Their criticism and negativity will not get you a promotion, the dream job or enable you to grow an amazing business

This is within your control and it's down to you which wolf you feed.

That’s a great story Phil Wickham I’m naturally a positive glass half full Girl. I’ve witnessed how destructive to your life feeding the negative wolf can be. it’s tragic to see people being stuck in anger resentment and jealousy

I love this legend indeed. I have survived through life by feeding my positive wolf Phil Wickham? I first read the book “ The Power of Positive Thinking” by Norman Vincent Peale in my early term years. That was when I realised to live fully I had to learn to see the rainbow in the clouds. Doesn’t mean it’s been easy but it has paid dividend feeding the positive wolf

I would definitely feed the positive one Phil Wickham and over the last few months when the negative voice has appeared the positive Pamela inside of me has squashed it.

Great story Phil Wickham. The more we learn, the more we realise we have a choice. It's down to the individual to decide. personally, I prefer to feed the good one.

Love the story and it is true that whatever mindset and attitude we feed will become more prevalent Phil Wickham. That's why I surround myself with positive people.
