Which way is the wind blowing?

My friend Diane Wyzga offered an astute comment on yesterday’s post Unfurling, being open to catch the wind .

“Even if we are not quite sure what the work is, being open helps us catch the wind to see one way or another.”

She is right.

For many of us are still a work in progress. Sensing directions, while also being open to testing things out. Because it is more complex and interconnected than simple.

And even if we are clear about the work we are called to do, there are also seasons and nuances.

Because emergence is never static, it can’t be.

Thank you for the hand up Sue with the nice mention. I appreciate your kind words *&* your essay. Are those really crocuses? And are they blooming now? Or another season in your valley? "Emergence is never static." Well put. We & creation are always in a state of emerging - how can it be otherwise? Even when we feel nothing is going on. I'm still captivated by the fact that trees move when they take up water - it's measurable, although incremental - like our own progress. ??

Thank you Sue Heatherington and Diane F. Wyzga the thing about the wind is that it does not ask our opinion and seasons take their own sweet time. We have choices, but limited control over outcomes. You both brought that beautifully to mind.
