Which Platform Should You Use for Your eCom Store?

Today, we were having a discussion in the DMD group regarding which platform to use for eCom stores.

The suggestions were Shopify, WP, Magento and Laravel.

When new clients approach us for a suggestion, we do not get into the platform discussion.

We get into a producting conversation.

So, a large retailer recently requested us to have a look at their GA account.

The results were not surprisingly good.

Most ecom sites are like watermelons.

Green from the outside but red inside.

And the culprit is bad producting.

I recommended a total productive make-over and the prospect was excited.

But when they heard our charges to do that, all of their excitement vanished.

They decided to continue with what they are doing.

In reality we were relieved.

The idea of onboarding another eCom client who was making a loss for years comes with a baggage of unrealistic expectations.

Its far easier to work with prospects who are already successful and take them to greater heights.
