Which Pain is Better?
Friends, in this article, I want to share an interesting perspective on "pain" that I encountered as part of my new health regime.
In my old state, I experienced pain throughout my body due to obesity and other lifestyle issues. From headaches to back pain, neck pain to lower back inflammation, I had all sorts of aches and niggles. I was constantly taking painkillers, attending physiotherapy sessions, and visiting doctors and diagnostic centers to find the cause of my discomfort.
Now, in my new state, I run for two hours every day. While I still experience pain, it's a mild soreness in my legs from my early morning runs. Remarkably, all my other pains and ailments have disappeared.
So, the logical question is: which pain is better? The chronic pain from my old state or the mild leg pain from running in my new state? For me, it's the leg pain. For others engaged in different forms of physical activity, the pain might manifest in different areas.
I’m sure you’ll agree that the minor pain in my new state is far better than the chronic pain in my old state.
I often tell my students that pain will always be a part of life. We should choose which pain is better for us.
For me, the pain from exercise is valuable, though others might have different opinions, which I respect.
Just thought of sharing this experience.
