Which NFT should I buy?

The unbelievable returns from trading NFTs is no more a selling point in this bear market. So, which NFT should you buy?
This is not financial advice.
TL:DR
Look for NFT communities that will:
What about making money? You can make money too from all of the above, not just through flipping.
Here's my story
The first set of NFTs I minted was from my 7-year-old daughter in early 2021. I thought collectors preferred art made by kids ??. No one bought them.
I doubled down on learning about NFTs and joined Gary Vaynerchuk 's community. VeeFriends was the first NFT I paid for at mint. The community was the perfect entry for me into Web3. GaryVee invested in educating the community about NFTs, Web3 and building for the long term. It was a relatively high mint price (0.5 Eth/ about $2,000) at the time, but I bought it for 2 reasons.
Firstly, 8 months before minting a Veefriend, I enrolled in a Master’s program at Birkbeck, University of London for £18,000 to study Business Innovation with eBusiness and I decided to focus my dissertation on Blockchain technology. An additional $2,000 to learn about NFTs which could potentially unlock financial rewards or at least make my learning better wasn't a bad idea.
The second and more important reason was to learn the 'street knowledge' of Web3. From my experience building a career in digital marketing, I've observed that there is corporate knowledge and ‘street’ knowledge in industries and corporate knowledge lags behind street knowledge.?
In 2008, while I was studying Civil Engineering at 英国伯明翰大学 , my mentor, Eddie Iduoze , asked me to learn web design. He graciously paid for my first web design project. That was how online marketing became my side gig for years while building my Engineering career. At the time, being an online marketer means you know how to move a consumer from awareness to purchase. I learned web design, copywriting, SEO, PPC, closing deals on the phone, multi-level marketing leveraging digital tools, SoloAds, email marketing and other channels. I became a Giraffe-shaped marketer.
7 years later, in 2015, I quit Engineering for the corporate world of digital marketing. I realized that the tools online marketers used to deliver results in record time like landing page builders, heatmap and tracking tools, marketing automation tools, video players with skins for lead generation etc. were relatively unknown in the corporate world. I was surprised.
That is why I want to learn about the corporate and the 'streets' of Web3 together.
From VeeFriends, I got into Avastars, World of Women (WOW) and Koala Intelligence Agency (KIA). This is an exciting part of the story.

I bought 2 WOW NFTs, one for me and one for my wife at 0.1 and 0.14 ETH respectively, and it mooned. I sold mine at 2.5 ETH to get into KIA. This was my first big lesson not to FOMO into projects. I bought the KIA top and spent almost 2ETH on a non-rare NFT then watched it go down to 0.07 Eth.
I sold my wife’s WOW NFT too for 2.5ETH with her permission. Her only request was that I must be active in whatever NFT community I planned to get into.
I bought two TIMEPieces Genesis NFTs for about 1.35ETH. This was also close to the top, but I rolled up my sleeves, got involved in the community, met amazing people, and became a moderator in the discord. I'm learning how a legacy organisation like TIME and the amazing team at TIMEPieces are navigating the Web3 world. Thanks, Keith A. Grossman Maya Draisin Bharat Krish Lane Lytle for the community-driven initiatives and opportunities.
Although WOW ran up to 8ETH at a point, it didn’t bother us because TIMEPieces has given more than financial gain.
I still learn from other projects and flips, but essentially, my reason for getting into NFTs is the street knowledge as I help other corporate brands navigate web3. You can't learn this in class.
This is also why I’m excited about the Royals NFT by Hans Boateng, Pharm.D., MBA . It is a diversity and inclusion-focused NFT to celebrate African culture on the blockchain - https://theroyals.art/ and MODE - https://themode.io/, a professional web3 network.
Which NFT should you buy?
Look for NFTs and communities that will:
We’re so early and it isn’t about creating passive income. It is about actively building in a new industry that will disrupt and create new opportunities.
TIMEPieces is running an Acrostic Poem competition and I chose the word 'community'. Here's my poem.
Community means we have something in common
Obvious sometimes, other times hidden
Mighty in numbers as more are born
My tea, others may take, unless it's forbidden
Ubuntu is the word we stand upon
Not just in talk like some communities
In time, on all, it’ll dawn
TimePieces is the community
Years to count, we’ll still be on
