Which cover title do you like best?

Hi my LinkedIn friends. I wanted to kindly ask you, if you can take the time, and tell me which cover title do you like best, please.
It is for my new book, true life story.
His plan was to get married, buy a house and have a family.
He got married and he bought a house. Trying to have his family was what put the brakes on and derailed the plan. Expecting his wife to get pregnant easily and having to face the realisation that he was 1 in 8, part of the infertility club, was demoralising.
Where he was hopeful, he was terror-stricken.
Where he wanted to create life, he encountered death and a fight for the survival of the very family that he was trying to build.
It is a vivid account, chronicling his suffering, mistakes and the biggest regret of all; his shame.
It was the most noble of dreams; it was utter terror.
Once again, thank you very much.

7 年The second cover works better. The title is more meaningful and the graphical layout of the cover is more balanced and engaging. The first has too much dead space graphically and the title makes it seem the subject is more about parenting in general than about the too often overlooked needs of the man who wants to be a father.

7 年I like the second title. It grabs my attention more than the 1st title and it talks about the struggle to becoming a father. The 1st implies you are already a father to me. The 2nd implies you are trying to become a father and having difficulty doing so.

7 年I like the second one, "men suffer too." It grabs your attention more than the first one.

7 年The advice someone gave about a comma before "too" is old school. I prefer it (the Oxford comma), but publishing has changed. Be sure to hire a competent editor. I recently found over 100 errors in an author friend's novel a week before she went to press. Good luck with your book.

7 年The second one (Journey) isn't as negative as the first.
