Which cloud service is the best, AWS or Microsoft Azure?

So.... 'Which cloud service is the best, AWS or Microsoft Azure?'

This question is a very critical question of the cloud community, the prime reason being, the need to cater to the technological demands of the world, especially to the IT industry. In the present-day scenario, the cloud technology solutions offered are pretty good and it only keeps getting better and better day by day. That is exactly why heavy competition arises between public cloud services like Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.

AWS was launched in the year 2006 and they hold the maximum cloud community market share as of now. Some of the prime cloud technology solutions that AWS offers include virtual computational services such as AWS Lambda, Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Elastic Beanstalk, Amazon Machine Images (AMI), etc.

Though AWS is the pioneer of cloud-based technology, Microsoft Azure isn’t far behind in catching up. Launched in 2010, Azure now has the trust of around 80% of the fortune 500 companies and thereby holds second place in terms of the market share. Some of the important cloud technology solutions that Azure offers are Azure Arc, Azure Machine Learning, Windows Virtual Desktop, etc.

Though certain similar cloud technology solutions are offered by both AWS and Azure, there are certain special features like the offering of 200 USD credits by Azure to use any of the services that the user needs to use until they exhaust the credits followed by usage of always free services or free for a year service. And the third-party integration facility by AWS makes it the first choice for developers.

Heavy competition exists amidst both AWS and Microsoft Azure, but it is impossible to choose one of the cloud services as the best. This is mainly due to the fact that the choice of cloud service is solely dependent on the need of the industry. One company’s requirement might be fulfilled by AWS while the other company might find Microsoft Azure to be the best fit for them. So, the answer to the above-asked question from the cloud community standpoint is, ‘It purely depends on the requirement of the industry’.
