Which is better the Ability or Audacity?

Greetings Prosperous people. I decided to give this LinkedIn posts a try. So please bare with me and my many typos. :-)
This morning I was thinking about what it takes to change the world. No, seriously. I was thinking about people who've changed the world in small and large ways. From Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to Jesus, from Hitler to Mother Teresa, From George Washington Carver to the Wright Brothers, From Napoleon Hill to Aristotle, From George Washington to Barack Hussein Obama.
Over time many have possessed the ability to change the world. Many had the attributes, the resources, the network, the influence and the power.... Many had the words, the stories, and the ideas... But what made these people special?
In my estimation, one of the major things these legendary figures all had in common, was audacity. They had the audacity to act, to speak, to protest, to resist, to overcome, to dream, to sacrifice, to fly, to write, to love, or to seize power. Thier boldness had a certain magic. The audacity to proceed with certainty in a uncertain world is a common trait amongst those who've accomplished great things.
Listen my friend, there are so many people who have the ability to make a difference, my challenge to you is to be one of the few who have the audacity.

8 年Eric I enjoyed reading your post..... I will add that once the decision is made to have the audacity to be great as you explained it means that you are signing up for painful, emotional, mental, and challenges that will push, pull, and tug at the person you think you are. My solution.. Embrace it!! Have fun with it.. Win a few.. Lose a few but keep on fighting.
