Where’s Your Head? // Colossians 3:2
By Mark Jordan , Spiritual Advisor
We have this little dig we give to each other in our family whenever we make a goof:?where’s your head??It’s just a little funny something we say to as though to ask, “What were you thinking?” Today’s verse is the Apostle Paul essentially saying the same thing. The big idea is to set your mind on the things of God as opposed to the things of the world. Bob Proctor framed this when he wrote, “What you think about you bring about.” Isaiah 26:3 offers us this promise, “You (God) will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!” I hope you will set your mind on the things of God. It’s true that you bring about what you think about, so make sure you’re thinking about God and godly things. When you do, and you place your trust where it belongs, the Lord promises to keep you in perfect peace. May it be so today and every day!
