Where Is Your Treasure?

One of my favorite Bible quotes is Matthew 6:21: “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

To me, this means that whatever we treasure inevitably captures our hearts. If we believe something is valuable, it will shape our actions and lives. Our decisions, both big and small, reveal our values and what we treasure most.

On a personal level, I just put ‘my money where my mouth is!’ Following the success of "Women Who Mean Business," a women's development program offering rising star leaders a final career boost,?I've long dreamed of a leadership program that reaches younger individuals—helping them explore their own life paths and discover if leadership is their calling.

That dream became a reality this month with the launch of the?Gay Gaddis Leadership Program at The University of Texas. This unique program will support 40 outstanding student leaders across all degrees, programs and schools at UT Austin.?

Named the Texas Trailblazers, the program will provide opportunities for students to harness their full leadership potential through my classroom guidance and the wisdom of proven leaders who will share their real-world experiences. My hope is that these students will truly blaze trails for the rest of their lives.

DRUM ROLL PLEASE! We are now recruiting outstanding students for our inaugural class, to be announced in May.
