Be Where You Are ...and get where you want to be!

Be Where You Are ...and get where you want to be!

An excerpt from the book: Your Guide to Creating the Ulitmate Chiropractic Experience

Wherever you are on the spectrum of understanding, embracing, or rejecting the Big Idea, know where you are (now). Really getting clear on what it is that we deliver creates more powerful experiences (for you, staff, patients, and community). Please don’t pretend. Don’t be where you aren’t (yet). Being in our present is where we can participate most effectively to create desired change.

In my coaching work, I ask clients to draw a square. Then add a dollar sign in the box and arrows pointing into the box. Every time they make a choice, that is congruent to the picture of what they desire to experience and express, it is a deposit of personal power. Each congruent thought and behavior are one of those arrows. In our offices, I suggest that every time that we’re making a choice and taking action that is congruent to what we desire to deliver we are increasing our confidence, competence, and our ability to show up with greater impact. Our “power account” grows and generates more of what we intend. Would you agree that our “worlds” would benefit?

Take a moment to recall when you have experienced someone very competent and confident in their work. Now recall the opposite, someone who seems unsure about what they’re doing. Was the amount of trust you were able to have in them different? If you want people to be able to place their trust in you, your office, and our profession, we must function with increased certainty.

Is what we’re saying and doing congruent with our intention? We are either making deposits or withdrawals with our actions, words, and thoughts.

“You never know how far-reaching something you think, say or do today, will affect the lives of millions tomorrow.” - Dr. BJ Palmer

It's time we expand our sphere of influence and generate a greater impact on the health of our communities. I hold the vision of a Well World and hope you'll join me.
