Where Vision Meets Emotion: The Essence of My Creative Journey
Introduction
People always ask me, "What is your passion? I simply say," Creativity." The typical response is," What do you mean by that?" Basically, anything that has a creative meaning, practice, teaching, voice, look, and expressions I'm passionate about it. Everything is art; it's art to everything, and our lives are art. Finding creative inspiration is all around you; anything creative has a story. Through your Creativity, people will understand your story. Creatively telling your story will be even more compelling. And when I say telling a story, your Creativity doesn't need words. It can be a picture, painting, sculpture, clothing, etc. So if you need inspiration, just look around you, and it's in you if you can't find it around you.
Digital tools
In today's time, we are in the prime of technology, where everything is now digital. The old ways of the world are gone, and we all have to adapt to the new, more creative, and innovative way of life. Computers. Phones, televisions, watches, speakers, headphones, earphones, washers and dryers, and everything digital with a processing system is a computer. The digital age is a phenomenon that affects everything we do, especially our personal and creative lives. This raises the question: Do you do your creative work on paper first, or just do it all on the computer? Personally speaking, I start out with paper. It just gives me more of an authentic feel to my art. With paper, I can run amuck and just let my thoughts go on the paper. Paper gives my ideas, thoughts, and first draft an eloquent feel, leading to the final product. Starting something on my phone, tablet, or laptop doesn't feel as good as paper. Especially with my literary works, pen and pad are just the place to start. There is no screen, keys, music, notifications, or distractions; it is just my pen, pad, and me.
Regarding my drawings and psychedelic art, I use the computer most of the time, but I use paper pretty often. The laptop is a lot easier because of the programs they have in place; you don't need to erase it; just click the back button. Button, and it will go to the previous point of the drawing, more effortless to color, more access to the tools needed instead of going out and purchasing them when they are already at your disposal on the program you use, and lastly, easier to edit the finished product.
Healthy balance
With art, it's all about balance, even in your approach. Just find your balance and whatever your approach is. As long as the product is what you wanted it to be and your audience likes it, then hey, by all means, stick to it. Stay healthy, stay creative, and stay positive.
