Where Value Lives

Where Value Lives

PilotInsure puts forward a unique offering.

It's why we exist. Without it, we would be just another struggling financial services brokerage with a hazy view of an unknown clientele - shooting in the dark! Luckily we have a laser-focus on exactly who it is we do business with. You, the aviator.

I want to share four of PilotInsure's tenets that ensure successful delivery of our value:

  1. Expertise: We have been in the aviation industry for over 12 years. We deal with loss of license taking great care, looking intricately into your individual flying to make sure that there are zero pitfalls in your cover.
  2. Independence: We are fully independent of any one insurer, meaning we can source the correct, comprehensive cover for your exact needs.
  3. Presence: We are present. Present at air shows, at airports, at safety evenings and talks (often providing the content), EAA Chapter 322 meetings every first Wednesday of the month and all sorts of other aviation related events.
  4. Enthusiastic: We’ve immersed ourselves in the aviation culture, a natural fit due to us being aviation nuts! We are pilots ourselves, and as such understand the pilots we are dealing with.

Loss of License Cover: we are handling your and your family’s livelihood in the event you cannot generate an income if you lose your aviation medical. This is why is vital that we get the cover right, that there are no overlooked aspects to your flying risks. Risks relating to territory, aircraft type, nature of flying, and how much one might fly to a particular type of airfield. All of this needs to be fully understood and properly disclosed to insurers so the benefit is valid at the time of claim.

We take it seriously and are unmatched at making sure there are absolutely no unforeseen non-disclosures so that your claim can be paid out in a swift and timely manner.

If need be, your policy will be, tweaked and adjusted or totally overhauled and/or even replaced with one that responds correctly. There are insurers out there that flat out don’t cover pilots, and we see it often (almost daily) that pilots own these policies, which ultimately mean very little and achieve nothing in terms of the client's objectives when it came to taking the policy out in the first place.

Let us take a look at your Life cover, Disability lump sum (Permanent Loss of License) Income Protection (Temporary and permanent loss of license) Dread Disease (Temp and Permanent Loss of License) - and make sure that the Aviation is covered properly now. Let's not leave it until claim stage to do the proper aviation related underwriting.

Let us remove all uncertainty relative to your flying and your cover.
