If your blog copy and your web pages are boring and 'me too' – you're dead. People have really short attention spans. Video, on the other hand, is engaging, it allows you to be authentic, and it connects you with your buyers.

...too kind, Nic Read. It's interesting that I always get much better / more feedback for tactical blogs than the strategic ones. So I weave a bit of strategy (to indulge my own needs) into tactical videos and we're all happy. I def need to keep them short though. I say always that they should be as short as possible, but no shorter (a phrase I stole), but that's really just to excuse the fact that sometimes I have not taken the time to boil the message down. Remember Blaise Pascale? "I am writing you a long letter as I don't have the time to write you my customary short one". I will continue to try to keep these weekly missives as short as possible without losing the depth.
