We are becoming more and more dependent on technology every day. Although some of us say that we will not bring technology into our life, developments force us to take this path.
Consider an airport like this; Before you come to the area, you must already check-in. When you enter the area, you find the relevant counter and weigh your luggage, which you have prepared considering the weight limits you have learned before, by putting it on the belt. If the weight is not suitable, you pay your extra weight with your credit card, get your tag and send your luggage from the belt with the push of a button. Afterward, you have your passport with a chip scanned while passing through the relevant section, and you go to the duty-free area and head straight to the gate where your plane will take off. During this transition, the only people you deal with are security guards. There will be a solution for this in the future. Maybe robots will control us. You never know, it could be possible.
Of course, the most important point is to download the application of the airport you will use on your mobile phone. To follow possible gate changes or cancellations and delays in flights. Well, what will happen to our elderly people who cannot adapt themselves to technology? Won't they be able to travel on their own? We still need the human touch for disabled and elderly passengers.
When we look at the hotel industry, the situation is not much different. The control of the accommodation is left to the guests. With the advent of rental property platforms, hotels are perfecting their mobile apps to better introduce their amenities to guests. The robotic world is also transforming the hotel industry. It is increasingly common to find automated hosts who greet guests upon arrival, order and deliver room service, take care of housekeeping, and carry guests' luggage. What will happen next?
The car journey; With more advanced computers to be used in vehicles, it will allow the user to travel in the simplest and safest, more efficient, and environmentally friendly way.
Plane travel; According to the International Air Transport Association's 2025 report on the future of the airline industry, cyber security, robotics, virtual reality, alternative energy sources, 3D printing, internet, and geospatial technologies will be used more widely.
The train journey; Thanks to the emergence of alternative fuels and the convenience it offers for passengers, many experts point to the train as one of the means of transportation that will determine the future of tourism.

On passenger ships; Since the pandemic, many shipping companies are adopting more contactless technologies and mobile applications that integrate with biometric information to facilitate the check-in process and are investing in this direction.
How will future travels evolve?
1- Security: New recognition technologies supported by passengers' biometric information will facilitate security checkpoints at airports and hotels.
2-Robotics: It will become more common to see robots finding new functions in different areas of a hotel or airport, as well as taking care of the security function and answering passengers' problems.
3-Artificial intelligence: Hotel chains, airlines, travel agencies, tour operators and cruise companies will benefit more from rapid data processing and artificial intelligence to obtain information and results about their customers' preferences and manage inventory.
4-Virtual reality: The travel industry will be given the opportunity to 'visit' the destination before the customer makes a reservation, giving the opportunity to test the rooms of the hotel or the tours of the properties ahead of time.
No more surprises...
