Where Are Prices Headed for the Next 12 Months?

With the new year underway, we’re getting bombarded by questions (understandably so) about what the trajectory of home prices will be over these next 12 months. Should we expect another monster year of appreciation, or will there be a market-swinging influx of inventory? We don’t know for sure, but we do know inventory is insanely low at the moment, and people are paying high prices to get into the homes they want. Today we’re exploring whether high demand and low inventory will continue to be the tale of the market or if a glut of foreclosures will give frustrated homebuyers more leverage.
