Where is Patriotism?

While almost every Indian is busy posting status about Bollywood's beloved actor's ill-timed demise our Guardians flatlined at Galwan Valley. While some are engaged in putting fake assurances and false information on depression and while yet others find themselves ?enthralled on violating the precautionary measures, endangering the lives of their countrymen with, of course, their own, there, on a cold white merciless terrain, someone takes his last breath so that all and sundry (who they don't know) can breathe in the air of freedom. The attention these patriots are getting is negligible. Oh!! but yes, my dear Guardians, you should not have died there, instead, you ought to lay down your lives on India-Pak border. Only then people will remember and respect you.

Was it ever patriotism that we saw on social medias or has it always been about letting a particular country down. Oh my people, I'm not asking you to post anything related nor anyone is expecting you to go and show your mettles on the border, I know you will do so if need be. All that we can do in the interim is to strive and become a citizen worth dying for.
