Where My Professional IT People At?

I heard a story the other day from a prospective client about the local IT Company they were about to divorce.

For the purposes of our discussion, let's call them La Cluster IT Services.

Although their name has been changed to protect their reputation, the following cringe-worthy actions on their part, are all too real;

  1. Total Lockdown- In this mode, La Cluster IT denied the client access to their own network. It's one thing to guard against external threats, but this is going a bit far.
  2. Goal Tending- La Cluster IT disallowed even non-competing vendors network access for the implementation of tools that would help strengthen their client's security and may even result in new business.
  3. Outright Disrespect- You really should be nicer to the people that pay you top-dollar to do very little. La Cluster was aggressive, predatory, and condescending for the loss!

I don't care who you are, or where you do business; your clients deserve YOUR BEST, EVERY DAY, ALL THE TIME!!!!!!!

That's what happens when you work with an IT Company that is reactive and not proactive like a true Managed IT Service Provider. Invest in a true Technology Partner. Many companies pay for people to fix things when they break rather than staying ahead of the curve and paying for a service that keeps their business up and running. People don't know what they don't know and the industry needs to do a better job educating and consulting rather than trying to make a quick buck!

And herein lies the reason companies have been calling EXEControl Global Solutions - we here stories like this frequently... many IT service providers are simply not providing the service their customers require. And sooner or later it becomes evident.
