Where The Magic Happens Part 2

The Death Process: Letting Go of Who You’ve Been to Become Who You’re Meant to Be

Last week we covered the first step of the journey.’ Let's continue the journey of self-discovery, expansion, and massive transformation. And let’s face it—if you want to level up, there’s going to be some uncomfortable, sometimes messy, but totally necessary work involved.

That brings us to the Death Process.

Yes, I said it. Death. But not the kind you're thinking of. This is the death of the old you. The old identity. The stories you’ve been telling yourself about who you are, what you can do, and how the world sees you.

Are you ready to release that old self and step into something bigger and better? Let's dive in.

Step 1: Write It Down—All of It

The first step in the Death Process is getting everything out of your head and onto paper. You need to identify what needs to die in your life so you can make space for something new.

Here’s where the magic happens: Write down everything that you feel is holding you back, keeping you stuck, or draining your energy. This could be beliefs, habits, patterns, or even people.

For example:

  • Death to scarcity and always struggling with money.
  • Death to feeling ignored and unheard.
  • Death to toxic relationships that drain me.
  • Death to self-sabotage that keeps me stuck.
  • Death to my fear that holds me back from being my true self.
  • Death to not believing in my own talents.

Keep going! The goal is to get a full page (or more) of everything you want to release. You might be surprised by what comes up. It’s okay if the list feels overwhelming at first—it’s all part of the process.

Step 2: Name Your Old Identity

Now, here’s the thing: All of those beliefs and patterns you just wrote down? They make up an identity. This identity has been running the show for years, probably without you even realizing it. It’s time to call it out.

Do you see the woman who is constantly looking for validation, who over-gives to the point of exhaustion, or who’s always playing small to avoid judgment? Do you see the woman who feels unworthy, or the one who can’t make money no matter how hard she tries?

That woman needs a name. Maybe she’s The Over-Giver, The Struggling Businesswoman, or The Unseen Artist. Whatever resonates with you, give this identity a label. This is the part of you that has kept you stuck in the 3D world—the world of fear, limitation, and lack.

Step 3: Understand the Core Beliefs of Your Old Identity

Once you’ve named your old self, it’s time to dig deeper. What beliefs are driving her actions? What’s the core story she’s been telling herself?

For example, she might believe:

  1. "I have to earn love and prove my worth."
  2. "I must sacrifice my own needs for fear of abandonment."
  3. "It’s not safe to go beyond my boundaries because I’ll be punished."

Do these beliefs sound familiar? Can you see how they’ve been shaping your life? This is the moment of realization where you say, “Aha! This is why I’ve been stuck.” These beliefs are the invisible chains that have been holding you back from your true potential.

Step 4: Acknowledge the Internal Conflict

Now, take a step back and ask yourself:

  • Why hasn’t this part of me allowed me to have what I truly want?
  • Why does this part of me keep me stuck, broke, or afraid of success?
  • Why is this part of me sabotaging my manifestations and dreams?

The answer is simple: She’s trying to protect you.

This part of you is scared. She’s afraid of being abandoned, of failing, or of stepping into the unknown. She’s doing her best to keep you safe, even if it means keeping you small and stuck. But now you can see it. You can see the internal conflict playing out in your life. And you know it’s time to let go.

Step 5: The Void—Surrender to the Unknown

Once you’ve fully acknowledged and released your old identity, you enter a space called The Void.

The Void is where you’ve said goodbye to the old self, but the new self hasn’t fully emerged yet. It’s that weird, uncertain space between “what was” and “what will be.” It can feel unsettling, like you’re floating in the unknown with no clear direction.

And yes, that’s okay.

In this space, massive internal recalibration is happening. You’ve burned the old bridges, let go of the old paths, and now you’re just waiting for the new direction to show itself. This is the trust phase. You have to trust that things are unfolding exactly as they should.

Sometimes, the Void feels a little uncomfortable, like you're not doing enough, or like you’re stuck. You might feel anxious, wondering, When will this end? When will I finally feel the shift?

But here’s the thing: The Void is where the magic happens.

During this phase, you’re being recalibrated. Your mind, body, and spirit are aligning for what’s to come. You can’t rush it, and you can’t avoid it. All you can do is trust.

Step 6: Resurrection—Welcome the New You

Eventually, you’ll feel the shift. You’ll feel inspired, excited, and ready to take on the world. Opportunities will start to show up, solutions to your problems will appear, and you’ll feel like you’ve been given a fresh start. This is the phase of resurrection.

This is when you move from the 3D world (the world of limitation, fear, and scarcity) to the 5D world (the world of abundance, joy, and limitless potential). In the 5D world, you’re free from the chains of the old identity. You trust yourself, you trust the process, and you trust the universe.

Step 7: Step Into Your True Power

The truth is, you've always had the power within you. The old beliefs and patterns? They were just distractions. Now that you’ve cleared them away, you're free to step into the full expression of who you really are. You’ll begin to see yourself as the powerful, capable, worthy woman that you are.

So, what happens next?

You keep trusting.

Trust that the universe is guiding you toward your highest good. Trust that the things you desire are already on their way. Trust that you are worthy of everything you’ve ever dreamed of.

And remember, the Death Process isn't something you do once and then forget about. It’s a continual process of shedding, releasing, and expanding as you evolve into the highest version of yourself. It’s like a constant rebirth—a never-ending flow of growth, magic, and self-discovery.

Are you ready to die to your old self and rise as the woman you were always meant to be? The world is waiting for you to step into your power. And trust me—you’ve got this.
