"Where I'm coming from: My Life in Verse," describes the author's life through his poetry. This book of poetry describes where the author has been and where he is headed. It does this mostly through free verse and rhyme. He portrays through his poetry his beginnings on a rural East Texas farm and his settling in a South Suburb of Chicago. It is true that "if you don't know where one has been you won't know where he is coming from." Follow him through his poetry on his many adventures. His poetry and his experiences are different to say the least. It is an exciting and thrilling ride through the ups and downs in the author's life.
