Two years ago I wrote an article, here on LinkedIn: "Where is IBC 2020 ?" , https://www.dhirubhai.net/pulse/where-ibc2020-gabriel-chirion/

By then, the world was locked down; Sony was launching the brilliant #rewritethefuture campaign, aimed to help the media industry to connect online, share knowledge and move forward.

What did we learned during these years ? First, the benefits of online communication via various digital platforms, allowing to keep people and teams together and also to share information and knowledge. Second, we learned about the limits of digital communication, missing human interaction and, in the case of the media technology, missing the necessary "touch and feel" experience, absolutely essential in the decision making process.

And yes, IBC is just a step away. Probably the most awaited edition ever. Time to start packing...
