Where is her HOME?

Home, she lost first. Abandoned she felt when one morning she wake up to nothing around. The trees she played around were been shaped as broken trunk. The security of loved ones was no more. She roared and made some noises - but all went unanswered.

The jungle her home her family is nowhere to seen. She jumped from rock to rock thinking that they must have not gone much far. But to her surprise the birds were not chirping anymore, the butterflies were not playing - the monkeys were not hanging from the tress.

Nothing was same for her. She is a cub and before she could learn about the world and its laws by her parents- everyone is burnt in the forest fire. She is saved because she was sleeping behind a rock below a tree.

Helplessly, she kept running knowing not where to go and where to stop! And then she saw the humans. Poor Sheila is not understanding who are they? why they are frightened by her sight? why the children are running away ?

WHY - so many why's but no answers. They threw stones and sticks to her- she got hurt and was crying. Before she could know about the good and bad - she encountered only bad.

For a expansion of 1 square foot our wildlife is paying the price. For sure development is the key to bring new changes. But on what cost?

Sheila was so wounded that she hardly could survived it. When you don't know what is it happening with you then how will you save yourself. Before she could learn she was in the battle ground already.

Often, we get to read news about Cheetah found in the colony- monkeys attacked a group of people- to which there are no solutions. I feel really bad for the wildlife that gives us so much. Lately, in my area a Cheetah has been located - he is scared and frightened. If, we would have been in his place then ?

I hope some day we could all live together and understand the concept of CO-EXISTING with fauna and flora. The wildlife is important for the humans to survive LIVING!
