Where the hell do you find good ideas?

Where the hell do you find good ideas?

"Nothing is as powerful as an idea whose time has come" - Victor Hugo

I quoted that in one of my books.

But your life and mine are blighted by the need to have ideas to order.

It's the hardest thing on earth.

If I have copy to write but don’t have an idea I get incredibly depressed and nasty to be near.

I begin to hate myself.

And now that I'm old I fear dementia has set in.

Currently I have a job which for over three weeks I have struggled with.

I think I have the solution , but we won’t know till the results come in.

But if you share such anguish I have a suggestion for you.

“There is nothing new under the sun.” is written in Ecclesiastes.

It's impossible to come up with anything entirely new.

The challenge is to find something right.

The best book for this is A Technique for Producing Ideas by James Webb Young.

Ideas come from the subconscious.

Everyone has said at some point "I've just had an idea, no clue where it came from."

The people who come up with the best ideas look where others don't.

They avoid the herd.

I recommend you study other things than marketing.

Especially the current fashion, which is digital.

Otherwise you'll be treading the same path as everyone else.

And end up with the same ideas.

So why should anyone choose you?

Does what you just read make sense?

Then I have a lot more for you.

And it only costs $1 to check it out for a month.

You'll find it on AskDrayton.

And your $1 is refundable if you think I'm talking piffle.

Have a look, now.

Best,

Drayton

That's the second time this week I've heard someone in the know talk about 'A Technique for Producing Ideas'?by James Webb Young. (The first - a Mark Pollard Sweathead podcast) It must be the universe telling me something. I'm going to have to buy it now.
