Where Have These Feelings Come From?

Where Have These Feelings Come From?

Lately, every now and then, I grapple with a feeling of inadequacy. I spend these moments in comparison—looking at what others have achieved, questioning if I've done enough, and feeling the weight of "shoulds" and "coulds." Questions like "Why haven't I created more financial success?" or "Why haven't I impacted more lives?" or "What if I let down those I care about most?" have a way of pulling me into a scarcity mindset, a place where fear of what has gone "wrong," or might go "wrong" overshadows all the good that already exists.

And yet, when I pause, I realize that this feeling is not about lack. It's about misdirection.

From Comparison to Creation

It's easy to get stuck looking at where we've been or where others are. But the real power lies in looking ahead. Instead of dwelling on what I haven't done, I've started asking myself:

  • What do I want tomorrow to look like?
  • What kind of life do I want to create for myself and others in the months and years ahead?
  • What one action can I take today to make that vision a reality?

This shift—from comparison to creation—is subtle but transformative. It's about focusing on the future you want to create, not the past you wish you could rewrite.

Letting Go to Move Forward

I've also come to see how much energy I've wasted holding on to things—habits, goals, and even mindsets—that no longer serve me. It's not easy to let go of the familiar, even when it's no longer working. But letting go isn't about loss; it's about clearing the way for something greater.

By simplifying what I focus on, I've found more space to dream bigger and take bold steps toward what truly matters. There's a quiet power in saying "no" to distractions—which can sometimes be something you like or even love to do—so you can give a resounding "yes" to the things that align more with your future self and the vision of the life you want to build.

A Better Tomorrow Starts Today

If you're reading this and feeling the weight of your own "shoulds" and "coulds," let me invite you to pause. Stop looking sideways or backward. Stop looking outwards or at others. Take a moment to start looking inward at your heart and soul. Then, start looking ahead.

Ask yourself not just where you want to go but who you want to become. Then, take one small, intentional step today toward that future. You don't need all the answers right now—you just need the courage to move forward.

Because your best future isn't about doing more or having more. It's about thinking beyond the limits you've accepted, dreaming bigger than what feels comfortable, and acting boldly in the direction of your own aspirations.

It's about taking bold action to advance beyond expectation.

I hope you'll join me in 2025 to start clearing out the noise in your life and your mind so you can focus on the desires of your heart and beyond.

Stay tuned for more information on this in the near future. ??
