What impact has it had on your work and goals?

This year has been a whirlwind for me, filled with global travels that blended personal milestones with professional growth. Here's a snapshot of my journey. Let me take you on my orbit

#Accra, Ghana: Continued supporting startups and driving conversations on digitization and e-commerce in one of Africa's most vibrant innovation hubs. Whether on large stages at multiple events, conducting training to startups or hubs or being closed-door conversations with other development partners, ministries and private sector its been an eventful year.

#Dubai, UAE: Connected with global ecosystem builders like Akosua Annobil (AB2020) and Jessy FULA (World Trade Center Dubai) behind the dynamic tech landscape at GITEX. Literally among giants

#Nairobi, Kenya: Visited GSMA Africa headquarters, deepening partnerships and exploring opportunities across African markets, especially in the climate space. Also got to meet a former mentee in the tech space.

#TheHague, Netherlands: The International Trade Centre program that I am the National Project Coordinator for is funded by Dutch Foreign Affairs. Got to meet the team who write the cheques and all our reports go to. ??

#Geneva, Switzerland: Celebrated International Trade Centre 60th anniversary with national coordinators from around the world—an unforgettable moment of global unity and a true milestone for the organisation.

#Abuja & #Lagos, Nigeria: Delivered train the trainers on entrepreneurship, digitalization, and e-commerce to institutions like SMEDAN, Abuja Enterprise Agency, and Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) and leading universities. In addition, facilitated cross-border business linkages by Hackapath bringing over 5 companies from Ghana to explore the market and forge ties.

#Bangkok, Thailand: Attended the Global Network of Centers Annual Meetup, where AI in particular AI governance and AI strategy were at the forefront of discussions, shared by experts from global research centres around the world. #Kigali, Rwanda: Balanced work and personal life, collaborating with Certa Foundation on policy round tables on Blockchain and FinTech, Investor Readiness Training and enjoying quality time with family and friends.

Each stop brought its own lessons—on collaboration, culture, and the power of global networks. These experiences are shaping how I approach 2025, and I’m excited for what lies ahead.
