Where has your courage pioneered change?

“This has always been a man’s role, why would I employ you rather than a man?”, he asked me.

My answer, “If I can do the job as well as a man, why wouldn’t you?”

Thankfully he did. Years later he told me I was the best hire he’d ever made!

My courage pioneered change in that industry opening doors for women.

Despite my small effort among all the other women who’ve made stands for women and changed society as a result of their actions, the facts remain that life for women in different than it is for men.

Being in business is different for women than it is for men.

Standing in your power as a female business owner isn’t easy despite the strides we’ve made in women’s rights and gender equality.

The reality is that we haven’t come as far as we’ve been led to believe.

The truth is that we women business owners need support. We can’t do it alone. And we shouldn’t have to.

Women were not designed to do it alone.

Women were designed to support one another.

The reality is that when you’re in business you often feel isolated, as though no one else gets you. You’re going solo. Doing it alone.

No one has your back.

No one holds you up when you feel like falling over.

No one surrounding you with love as you enter the fray.

No one cheering for you in the bull ring.

But wait …
