But all quality business has switched BACK! To what it was decades, even centuries before.
The golden age of Conversation has blossomed.
Break out your cigars, Break out your pipes and tobacco because we are all going back to what truly makes business work. Personal connections. And in those 'good ole days' that was how business was conducted.
In todays world where everyone wants to sell you, hype you, push their products & services we are all backing off.
Who do we trust? Even our Facebook friends are hacked and the people taking their profiles want to sell us something after a few quick bits of conversation.
But if you know what you are looking for those conversation give you all you need to recognize liars and hackers.
That is why we are moving away from hype and pressure and back to - who do you know. Who do you like? Who do you trust?

Meaningful conversation with the people in your circle.
Yes it is an ever expanding circle but it must start small and grow. And it will probably never grow beyond 40-50 people.
Everyone and everything else will come to you from referrals and recommendations of people we personally know and will stand behind.
After all, is my recommending someone to help you a reflection upon me and my ability to know people who will be trustworthy?
I started Confident Conversations Mastermind in late September for just this reason.
To teach us all how to get back to having conversations where we learn about people. Not their businesses, not their companies, but about them. Who are the people in your circle. Where did they come from. What have they gone through and what kind of people are they.
Can they be trusted? Believed? Will we want to do business with them? Are they people of their word?
Meaningful conversations are changing the world because we have to learn and trust the people we work with. Without that trust, we will keep buying bad products from bad people who will keep cheating us with their big time advertising and fast talk.
Come home to real and meaningful conversations and surround yourself with people you can count on.

2 年Absolutely but there's a problem people have lost the art of conversation. And exceptional conversation is rare...
