Where to File a UDRP Complaint
In episode number 11 of my YouTube masterclass on domain name disputes, I discuss where a trademark owner can file a complaint under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP).
Watch the video on the GigaLaw YouTube channel.
As I explain in the video, there are six ICANN-approved UDRP service providers:
- The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)
- The Forum (formerly known as the National Arbitration Forum)
- The Czech Arbitration Court (CAC)
- The Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre (ADNDRC)
- The Arab Center for Dispute Resolution (ACDR)
- Canadian International Internet Dispute Resolution Centre (CIIDRC)
In the video, I discuss where each of the six UDRP providers is located, explain how their fees and services differ from each other, and explore how a trademark owner might go about selecting a UDRP service provider when deciding where to file a complaint against a cybersquatter.
